Angela Kolberg, DC, Pt, PhD

PhD in Physiology at the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, working in the Laboratory of Cellular Physiology. Graduated in Physical Therapy, 1992, Pos Graduation (Lato Sensu) in Teaching Methodology, 1993, Methodology of Higher Education in Health Supervision and Training, 1994 and Chiropractic, 2000, at Feevale University. Ph.D. in Physiology in 2005, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. First publication: "Low expression of MRP1/GS-X pump ATPase in lymphocytes of Walker 256 tumor-bearing rats is Associated with cyclopentenone prostaglandin accumulation and cancer immunodeficiency" in the journal Cell Biochemistry and Function, (London, v. 23, p. 1-17, 2005). Since then, acts as advisor and collaborator with many other research publications. Current project investigates the effect of chiropractic associated with application of elastic bandage in visually impaired individuals and in post-surgery patients. Worked as Director of the Center for Health Sciences at the University Feevale where have established the graduation programs in Chiropractic, Nursing, Biomedicine and Nutrition 1999. Was the coordinator of the Chiropractic Program at Anhembi Morumbi University, 2001-2002. Associated teacher for the discipline of physiology of Biomedicine Program at the Serra Gaucha College, and disciplines: Topics in Rehabilitation Process and Research Methodology - Guidelines for Research, in the Pos Graduation courses (sensu lato) in Kinesiology Labor (2011) and in Chiropractic Orthopedics and Traumatology at the College Latin America (Caxias do Sul, Brazil, 2012).

Ricardo Fujikawa, DC, MD, MSc

Ricardo Fujikawa is the director of the Chiropractic Program at the Royal University Centre Maria Cristina (affiliated with the Complutense University of Madrid), in Madrid. He received his medical degree from Marilia School of Medicine, in Brazil. He is Brazilian Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Haematology, and graduated Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2001. Dr. Fujikawa participated in the WHO committee that established the WHO Guidelines on Basic Training and Safety in Chiropractic.

Thiana Paula Schmidt dos Santos, DC, M.S

Graduated in Chiropractic from Feevale University (2006). Masters in Public Health from the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) in 2008. Currently is the Coordinator of the Chiropractic Program in the Feevale University and a teacher at the Chiropractic, Nutrition, and Physical Therapy Courses (disciplines of Epidemiology and Introduction to Clinical Practice). She has experience in chiropractic and public health, mainly in the following subjects: chiropractic, public health, public health and epidemiology.

Ana Facchinato, DC, MHS

Dean of The Chiropractic Course at University Anhembi Morumbi (São Paulo, Brazil), graduated Doctor of Chiropractic from the first graduated group in Latin America at University Anhembi Morumbi – São Paulo, Brazil in 2004. International Chiropractic Postgraduate Residency Program at Western States Chiropractic College in 2005. Masters in Health Sciences at University Cruzeiro do Sul in 2010. Coordinator of the Chiropractic Course at University Anhembi Morumbi and professor of the disciplines: Integrated Module of the Cervical Spine, Integrated Module of the Thoracic Spine and Integrated Module of the Lumbar Spine. The Journal of Chiropractic Education’s Member of the Editorial Board.

David Lopez, DC, PT, M.Ed

AECC graduated. Master in Education (M.Ed). Director of the Chiropractic Conversion Program of the Central University of Chile. Director of the International Chiropractic University Program (ICUP). Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Chile. Director of the Manual Therapy Diplomat, Saint Thomas University.

Roberto Cortés Ruiz, License in Chiropractic

Principal of the Universidad Estatal del Valle de Toluca (State of Toluca, México). He graduated in 2005, he was from the first generation of chiropractic in the Universidad State del Valle de Ecatepec and the first of his generation to obtain professional license in this country as a license of chiropractor. Participated as a professor of full time during 2006-2010 in this same institution giving the as signatures of Chiropractic Methods and Clinic Practice. In the actuality he is studying the mastery in education of Technology of Monterrey; as well he is the member of the Mexican association of license in chiropractic.

Maria Elizabeth Herrera López, License in Chiropractic

Director of the Chiropractic program at the State University of Valle de Ecatepec (UNEVE) in the State of Mexico; Chiropractic degree from the first graduated group at UNEVE, 2005. Residency in the academic exchange program at Parker College in "Development of Faculty", 2006. Master in Administration of Higher Educational Institutes at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, 2011. Member of the Evaluation and Training Health Human Resources Committees, at State and Federal level, for the evaluation of new Chiropractic Programs in Mexico.

Carolina Kolberg, DC, Msc

PhD student at the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences - Physiology, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Has graduated as doctor of chiropractic in 2004 in Anhembi Morumbi University, Sao Paulo. Master in Physiology at the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences - Physiology, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre, Brazil, 2009). The results of her research were presented at national conferences of Biological Sciences, and international in Neuroscience and Chiropractic, earning her publication in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics and the prize for Best Poster in Latin America at the World Congress of Chiropractic (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2011). Taught the discipline of physiology, as a substitute teacher by the Department of Physiology, Institute of Basic Health Sciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Porto Alegre, Brazil, 2010). Is regular teacher of the disciplines: Basic Concepts in Neurophysiology of Pain and Physiological Basis of Human Movement, in Postgraduate programs (Lato Sensu): Labour and Kinesiology and Chiropractic in Orthopedics and Traumatology, at the Latin American Faculty (Caxias do Sul, Brazil 2012).

Dayane Maia Costa Cabral, DC, ESP

Graduated in Chiropractic at Anhembi Morumbi University (2007). Specialized in Human Physiology, Faculty of Medicine of ABC Medicine College (Santo Andre, Brazil, 2009). Enrolled in a Master Degree by the Department of Preventive Medicine, School of Medicine, USP (current, Sao Paulo, Brazil).

Teaches the disciplines of: Integrated Module of the lower limbs, in Cycles of Life Chiropractic, Therapeutic Resources, Integrated Clinic, musculoskeletal system and acts as internship supervisor at the Center of Integrated Health at the Anhembi Morumbi University.

Günther Gehlen, PhD, Ms

Fábio Dal Bello, DC, MSc, ART, ICSSD

Academic Coordinator of the Chiropractic Program and the Chiropractic Master Program at Chile Central University (UCEN); Coordinator of the Research Department at Saint Thomas University, Talca, Chile.

He graduated as a chiropractor at Feevale University, Brazil, 2004. Postgraduate degree in Physical Activity and Health, with emphasis in Physiology of the Exercise (2006). Master degree in Genetic and Molecular Diagnosis, with emphasis in Neurological Physiology, at Lutheran University of Brazil (2009).

Professor at Feevale University, Brazil (2005-2010), teaching Biomechanics, Dorsal and Lumbar Chiropractic Techniques, Upper Cervical Technique, Radiology IV, Radiology V, Clinical Practice I and II.

He worked as chiropractor in his private clinic, as well as with a professional soccer team and amateur horseback riding team.

At this moment, he is working in a private clinic in Chile and teaching Integrated of Neuroscience, Muscle-Skeletal Physiology, Chiropractic Physical Examination I, Chiropractic Techniques I, II, III and IV, Clinical Practice I, II, III and IV, Chiropractic History and Philosophy II and Investigation Methods at UCEN. He is also a professor at the Saint Thomas University and member of the SOTO-USA Researcher Board.

Noé Velázquez, DC

Chiropractic Clinic Coordinator of UNEVT, graduated from the third generation of UNEVE. Since September 2009, attached as Professor of Philosophy of Chiropractic. Diploma in Human Development in 2008. Currently studying an MA in Gestalt Psychology.
